GPS Shoot Camera ("the App") is developed by Gyanpath. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using this App you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

📍Location Data (GPS)

The App requests access to your device's location to:

Embed GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude) on captured photos
Display location name on the camera overlay
Save location metadata alongside photos for CSV export

✅ Location data is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to any server or shared with third parties (except as part of AdMob — see Advertising section below).

📸Camera & Storage

The App requires the following permissions:

Camera — to capture photos
Storage / Media — to save photos to your device gallery

All photos are saved locally on your device. We do not access, upload, or transmit your photos to any external server.

💾Data We Collect

The App collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:

Photos captured through the App
GPS coordinates and altitude at time of capture
Location name (reverse geocoded from coordinates)
Date and time of capture
Notes added by the user
App theme preference

❌ We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.

📡Internet Access

The App uses the internet for two purposes only:

Reverse Geocoding — to convert GPS coordinates into a human-readable location name (via Google's geocoding service)
Advertising — to load and display ads via Google AdMob

📢Advertising (Google AdMob)

This App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including Banner Ads, Interstitial Ads, and Native Ads.

Google AdMob may collect and use data such as:

Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
IP address and approximate location
App usage and interaction data
Device type and operating system

This data is collected by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

AdMob's data collection is handled entirely by Google. Gyanpath does not receive or store any advertising data.

🔒Data Security

Since all user data (photos, GPS logs, notes) is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's own security measures such as screen lock and encryption.

We do not transmit personal data over the internet, so there is no risk of data interception by us.

👶Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used this App and provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
